Trip to London and 1st day in London

semi-overcast 19 °C

Hi we left Manchester for London on Monday, via Virgin Trains. The train trip was great Virgin Trains run a excellent service travelling at 205 km/h. The countryside we passed through was beautiful and we followed the canal all the way to London nearly.
We are staying at The George Hotel in Euston, for what we paid it is'nt to bad, clean tidy and comfy.
Today we did the The Big Bus, Hop on Off bus trip around London to the main sites, this was great and a easy way to see everything you need. We got on our first bus about 9.30am and arrived back at 6.00 pm, a very long day of hopping buses. The city is full of police with President Obama being in town and we could'nt get to close to Buckingham Palace. The kids enjoyed Harrods and Hamleys Toy Store.
Tomorrow we will take the underground for a new experience for the kids, we will be heading to The London Eye and The Dungeon Tour.
